Ladies Texas Scramble - Tuesday 30 January 2018
Congratulations to Jane Ackling, Pat Haslam and Sue Overton who won this week's Texas Scramble with a creditable net 61.2, particularly considering the course conditions. The largely unchanging group of ladies who continue to defy the elements week on week are to be applauded - well done to all who played.
Ladies High/Medium/Low - Tuesday 5 December 2017
Congratulations go to Margaret Chilvers, Pat Haslam and Carol Smalley who accumulated 61 points to win this week's competition. It was a relatively small field; golf for the hardy few at this time....well done all.
Ladies AM AM - Tuesday 28 November 2017
Out of the sun the winds were icy, making the round a test of endurance above all else.  Arguably, the scores reflected this with winners Kate Hammond, Pat Haslam, Carol Smalley and Kerry Variava accumulating 65 points (+1 over 16 holes).  In second with 63 points were Julie Bowler, Alison Groom, Rachel Miller and Julie Wells with 63 and finally in third, Jane Ackling, Sylvia Armson, Jayne Harris and Angela Lane secured 60 points.  All prizes will be presented at the Annual Dinner on the 19th December. Well done ladies!!
Ladies Medford - Tuesday 21 November 2017
We were treated to yet more comfortably mild weather however the wind made putting on leaf scattered greens a seasonal challenge!  Congratulations to Rachel Miller who finished with a solid score of 17 (8 medal holes minus 8 Stableford holes) narrowly beating Kate Hammond, also with 17, on the back 6.  Well done also to Irene Moody who was very close behind with 18.

Mixed Bag   Tuesday 14 November 2017
Last minute, Suzanne Pretty and Gilly Higgins were provided with a wild card in the form of Margaret Norris which turned out to be a lucky default.  Suzanne, Gilly and wild card Margaret, scored an impressive 65 points to win plus, Margaret with, Hayley Smith and Irene Moody, also contributed to the runners up result of 64 points!  Congratulations to all, but a very satisfying day's golf for Margaret!

Ladies Flag Competition  Tuesday 7 November 2017
As the winter weather steadily rolls in, players were grateful that they only had to watch the late arriving forecasted downpour from the clubhouse!  As ever, the hotly anticipated Flag competition didn't disappoint; congratulations go to winners Kate Hammond (Silver Division) and Joy Robinson (Bronze) who both managed to reach the 16th hole. Well done ladies!

Ladies Wine Wobble - Tuesday 31 October 2017
Yet another round of Autumn golf devoid of bad weather, however the course played long and the greens slow following the inevitable morning dew. Congratulations go to Kate Hammond, Margot Lawrence and Kerry Variava who scored a creditable 62 points to win, closed followed by Claire Bottom, Margaret Chilvers and Lynn Mee with 61. The lucky winners will be presented with their prizes at the Annual dinner on the 19th December. Well done all!
