Longcliffe Golf Club operates a contemporary and forward thinking dress code policy commensurate with a modern day golf club. It is in all our interests to maintain appropriate standards of casual, but smart, dress in keeping with golfing traditions. Members, guests and visitors are required to comply with this code both on the golf course and in the clubhouse.

ON THE COURSE: (including practice ground & practice putting green):

- Approved and recognized Men’s, Ladies & Juniors golf attire.
- Men’s shirts must be tucked into trousers or shorts.
- Trousers must not be worn tucked into socks.
- Tailored shorts with either predominantly white sports socks or single colored knee length socks
- Caps must be worn peak forward.

These items are not acceptable:

- Tee shirts, polo or rugby style shirts displaying slogans or banners.
- Cargo style shorts or trousers with external patch pockets.
- Men’s three quarter length shorts.

(If in doubt, please ask the Pro shop staff.)
IN THE CLUBHOUSE:

- Smart casual clothing is permitted in all parts of the Clubhouse and Dining Room and at all times, unless alternative dress is specified for a particular function. This applies to all team matches and visiting parties, unless the Match Captain or Organizer has indicated otherwise.
- Tailored shirts (without tails) may be worn outside trousers.
- Men’s knee-length, tailored shorts and socks, as above. (Up to 7pm in the dining room).
- Smart denims are permitted in the Clubhouse, provided they are not ripped, torn, frayed, faded, baggy, low waisted or work related.
- No Headgear of any kind (unless being worn on religious grounds)
- No Wet, soiled or Waterproof clothing.
- Spiked or Muddy Golf shoes or work boots are not permitted in the clubhouse. Appropriate footwear to be worn at all times at Longcliffe Golf Club.

- Making and receiving mobile phone calls should not be done in the bar, lounge or dining room.
