What a contrast to last year when the wind blew and scores were low! The conditions on Saturday were cold but calm, and the greens receptive, which encouraged good golf and high scoring. Third prize went to Robert Hamilton, Graham Moody, Lee Griffin and Mark Howard with 90 points from Paul Reed, Gary Titterton, Prakash Pancholi and Wayne Bown in fourth place also with 90 points.
As the day warmed up the afternoon scores were even better with Andy Wallace, Oli Willson, Joe Hudson and Luke Turner returning an incredible score of 99 points to win from Alan Scott, Paul Winters, Nick Carter and Darren Wade in second place with 95 points.
