Easter Fayres.....??

Clubhouse redecoration update

It may seem to members that things have ground to a halt with the project but that is far from the case. All the papering and painting is now complete and new door furniture is in the process of being fitted. The new carpet has been ordered for the bar area but will not be available for delivery until mid April which is when we will also be having contractors in to renovate the parquet flooring that has remained hidden from view to members for the last 20 years.

Once that is complete, we will be able to apply the finishing touches when the honours boards, pictures and mirrors are hung and the new fans and chandeliers are installed. We hope that you will agree that the new colour scheme reflects our club colours and will provide us with a modern and inviting feel to the clubhouse. This new fresh feel is already highlighting that our furniture is looking a little tired and so the committee are exploring what we might be able to achieve with this for a possible future project.

It may feel that the project has taken a while, however, it was essential that the clubhouse remained open to members and visitors while the work was taking place, and we thank members for their patience during this time.
