August Update

Hi to all, here is a quick round up what happened in July and what is coming up in August;

Team News

Due to Kirby Muxloe's withdrawl from the league , our final match was cancelled and we finished bottom of the revised table. The league maybe rearranged again next year, as many clubs have struggled to get a team together. We are fortunate at Longcliffe that we now have over 20 players with offical handicaps , with several players close to gaining their handicaps. This will ensure competition for places.

Junior Competitions

Junior week 

I think that this was one of the best supported Junior Weeks in recent times. We had over 20 players for all of the events. It was great to see so many of the younger players taking part. 

Academy Members

After the success of the taster sessions , we awarded a number of Academy Memberships to the girls. The memberships last throughout July and August and provide further coaching and use of the practice facilities. It is very much hoped that this extended trial period will result in a number of girls taking up academy membership.
