In the January 2012 edition of National Club Golfer magazine there is an article which features the top one hundred golf courses in the country with a green fee of under £50.

Longcliffe Golf Club is justifiably proud that its highly-rated course achieved 87th place in the list. It was also highly acclaimed by the editorial staff of the magazine.

This accolade follows close on the heels of two other mentions in national golf magazines recently, the course having also featured in a "top one hundred hidden gems" survey and in a list of  the "best courses in the East Midlands for winter golf".

Course Manager Peter Sands and his team of greens staff have worked unstintingly over the past few years to take an already highly-rated course to new standards, and they are intent on maintaining this progress in achieving ever higher levels of course excellence here at Longcliffe.
